Mainstage Pass Program extended!

The Salem Theatre Company is extending its popular mainstage pass program!  Buy a pass at http://www.salemtheatre.com/main_stage.htm and save 15% off your ticket to “An Evening of Pinter,” “The Underpants,” and our 2010 Winter mainstage production (TBA this Spring).

It’s a great deal, especially if you’re a regular STC attendee!  They also make great gifts for those theater lovers you know on the North Shore.  Why go to Boston and pay a fortune, when professional quality theater at an affordable price is right in your own backyard?

Pinter on its way

banner-1“No Exit” wrapped last night at the Griffen Theatre – the STC’s first mainstage of the 6th Season was a hit and a great start to our 2009 offerings.  Thanks to the hundreds who came to the play!

Next up for the STC is “An Evening of Pinter” – an evening of one-acts and revue sketches from the late Harold Pinter, going up at the Griffen Theatre March 20th.  Pauline Wright directs the show.  Pauline has previously directed the STC mainstage of Anne Nelson’s “The Guys,” a staged reading of Sarah Kane’s “Crave,” and Joel Doty’s “Action and Reaction” – an entrant in the STC’s 2008 festival of original one-acts “Moments of Play.”  Tickets will be available at www.salemtheatre.com starting March 9th.  There are only six performances and the Griffen is not a large theater, so be sure to get your tickets for this one early and online…we’ll be filling up the house quickly for this one!
